Perrin & Fils L'andéol Rasteau 2007, Ac Côtes Du Rhône Villages

Robert Parker

The 2007 Cotes du Rhone-Villages Rasteau l’Andeol has turned out to be outstanding. Big, chocolaty, sweet kirsch liqueur, loamy soil, pepper, and earth aromas are followed by a full-bodied wine with sweet tannin, but none of the rusticity that sometimes appears in these sun-drenched vineyards on Rasteau’s high plateau. Full-bodied, rich, and Provencal in character, this beauty can be enjoyed over the next decade.
